In partnership with the UCSC History & Civics Project, CCWP is excited to jointly welcome Professor John Jota Leaños, who will facilitate a conversation about interrogating and reimagining stories of the past between Pueblo scholars and educators. Participants will explore foundational values and guiding principles of ethnic studies using Leaños’ film, Frontera, as a case study. Teachers intent on understanding and gaining insight into the goals and development of impactful ethnic studies courses, teaching, and learning are encouraged to register.
